I love fighting games, specifically Tekken.

Have you heard about the upcoming Street Fighter X Tekken and Tekken X Street Fighter? Apparently two games are being made, one by Capcom and one by Namco. Both use the same characters, but one has SF's fighting style (Fixed 2d, super moves, etc) and one uses Tekken's style (3D movement, more realistic fighting styles and combos, etc.)

Damn... i would love 2 get Tekken 6... but at the moment my computer takes all my free cash, so.. the game needs 2 wait a little....

i would likely buy Tekken x Street Fighter... cuz... realistic fighting is better in my opinion... :P

I used to be HUGE on fighting games.. Toshinden 4, Tekken 2, Killer Instinct, SF, Mortal Kombats.. Used to love them all... Until they all got gay

Mortal Kombat became unpopular and no one enjoyed it..

DOA was ok, but was on a crap console (xD I like 360, but it's to old for me to care for)

SF I was never a big fan of, after 2 I lost interest and went to MK then Tekken

Tekken's not released a good game since TTT

Killer Instinct's awesomeness died with Killer Instinct for the SNES

Toshinden 4 was to unheard of, and so never saw a sequel from it released in any shop..

Yeah I used to play fighting games (Tekken, Soul Calibur)

and I used to rip through the tekkengame with Xiaoyu for some reason (Art of Phoenix was an easy move for me to use )

Hmm... not that I really prefer fighting games, but they're okay. Also the only ones I've played are Tekken III; Golden Axe; old Street Fighter and some freeware ones.
Oh wait... I've also played some Mortal Combat like 9 years ago. But the only scene I remember is when one fighter took form of a giant scorpion and beheaded the opponent.

Ugh, I've always hated playing Mortal Kombat. Partly because I suck at it, partly because it's so damn old. But mostly because I suck at it.

Street Fighter has never been my thing either... The older games feel too slow, and the newer games feel too fast. Plus, for both MK and SF, you can just randomly button mash and still stand a chance. That always bothered me.

I thought Tekken 5 was pretty good... To be honest, I didn't like TTT. It felt rushed, as if they were just trying to get a Tekken title out for the PS2. They should have taken some more time to work on it, especially the graphics.

really, you have a problem with the graphics in TTT, when it came out just before Tekken 3? Are you kidding me? >.>

I love TTT, only one I enjoy these days. Rushed, I dunno about that? I find it adds some kind of planning with your duo composition and what not (since you can pull off dual combination grabs and tagout attacks etc..) You can't bind the L and R buttons aswell (something I hated in all the later tekkens) and then you had the healing whilst your tagged partner is off the scene - made it so when you get an advantage, being defencive and playing a very counter aggressive game wasn't always the best option, especially with Yoshitmitsu on the field (who could only regen what he could if he was tagged out, no more then that)
