Dectective Conan is one of the most recognized and popular Anime in Japan. It has its own dedicated day in Japan, and seemingly no one has a complete collection in the same Video format. I know the series is nearing over 650 episodes but that is just a testament to how much people love the show. It deserves a place on Realitylapse.

^^ Definitely true, RL should have this series but the series do not reach 650 episodes yet (the latest one is 645)..... I know this because I have the complete episode of it....... Hahaha........

It has been licensed in the US, therefore it has an extremely low chance of showing up on RL.

If I remember correctly, it actually was on the site at some point, but was removed due to copyright claims.

I know that they bought rights to the series, however if memory serves me correct, as long as its is the Japanese sub version then the copyright does not cover it and it can be hosted. In the past there were several cases of companies trying to get websites to stop posting shows they had reserved rights to but lost because those companies did not buy right to the original dialog version. And i believe certain companies in japan stood by the viewers saying that they have no issue with people from foreign nations downloading anime. I assume its because it encourages interest in Japanese language, culture, international commerce, and tourism.

Maybe so, but it still costs money to fight such legal battles. It's probably more cost-effective to just drop it. After all, it wouldn't be good for the site or it's users if the battle were fought and won, but had to be shut down due to being unable to afford to keep it up and running...

What i mean to say is there there shouldn't be anything to cause legal trouble, the legal battle has already taken place so there wouldn't be anything to fight, but its no big deal, i just know that many people look for good sites that host that particular show. No big deal..

The battles have taken place for other sites, maybe other companies, but not for this site. Just because they lose one battle doesn't mean they will lose them all, or not try again.
