How Many Pair of Shoes Do You Have?

Well, nothing much to describe. We all have shoes. For different purposes we have different pair of shoes. Some for work, some for workout, some for adventurous activities, some for parties, and etc, etc.

So, how many pair of shoes do you own? Care to share?

As for me I have...let see. I have to count first.

4 pairs of shoes. 2 pairs for work, one for going an outing and another one is for sports.

Remember, sandals and slippers and not included! Just shoes!!!

At a quick count , I have about 10 pairs of shoes......(They all fit me still ....)

I have one pair of Sketchers Shape-ups I use for work, a pair of tennis shoes, a pair of flips flops (they count for me, since they're pretty much the only shoes I wear in the summer, other than work ones), 3 pairs of heels I rarely wear, and one pair of ankle boots that need to be fixed.

So 7 total.

One pair of black work shoes, which are in fact nearly 10 years old lol, and are still usable (I'll need to buy new one's sometime in the year though)
A pair of Rocket Dog brown flat shoes, which are coming to the end of their life.
A pair of brown boots (with heel)
A pair of Juicy Couture flip flops, which i got for half price.
A pair of electric blue heels from office which can only be worn in the summer since they expose too much skin.
Three pairs of espadrilles, two cheap pairs, one black with white polka dots on, the other pink and strappy and then a really lovely pink pair, embroidered and with sequences from Kanna.
A pair of grey heels, which are really nice but very uncomfortable.
A pair of brown old fashioned style shoes.
A pair of really nice heels (can't remember what style they were called now) which were said to be size 3 but are actually smaller then that, so are just a tiny bit too small (got them from eBay. should have sent them back).
A pair of white heels from Faith.
Two pairs of ballet shoes.
A pair of multi coloured Firetrap low heel shoes which are way too uncomfortable to wear lol.
A pair of shin length brown and black suede boots and a smaller pair of black suede boots, both on their way out.
And one pair of trainers which are designed for running.

So 17 (if i counted right). But believe it or not, i do need new one's. A few pairs are becoming unwearable and falling apart, some aren't suitable for winter and some just don't fit or can't be worn, i keep meaning to sell these.

I could do with some flat boots to walk around in the snow, a new pair of just normal flat shoes and a new pair of proper boots as well as the new pair of work shoes. So in the next four of so months i should be getting rid of some and buying at least 4 more.

Keep an open mind Dave, people do need several pairs of shoes for several things. Even if they don't have a valid reason, I think using the word 'sickos' to describe them is a bit strong.

Aaaand so I'm not spamming, I have only the one pair. A pair of blue sneakers. I need some more shoes since these ones may soon completely disintegrate. May get another two in fact, just in case.

First of all, i need a pair for work.
Second of all, i need a pair for exercising since normal shoes will damage your knees.
Third of all, i actually go to nice places, which need you to wear nice shoes. Some of us don't lead life that require just one pair.

And lastly. If i go to fucking work and earn that money, why, OH WHY, would i give that money away. I'm all for helping the poor (since i am one of these poor) but giving money to the homeless is counter productive. Give it to a homeless shelter, then you know for sure that the money is used to fed someone, and not buy cigs or alcohol.
Then there's the fact that i earn very little. Am i not allowed to spend my hard earned money on some treats after i pay the bills. These aren't a collection i got overnight, these are shoes i've bought (and had bought for me) over years.

I've never needed more than that. One pair fits for everything. They are comfortable, they can be worn in all settings and conditions, and they are durable.

My my. Reminds me of my female colleagues. They have soooooo many pairs of shoes. Each one matches their dress. Luckily guys don't need to do the matching thing XD

A pair of Airwalk's that I had for work and a pair of Van's that are on their last legs. Actually ordered a new pair today. So hope to see them soon. =D

I'd only have a handful - pair of havaianas, casual pair for going out, pair of trainers for the gym, pair of julius marlow to go with my suit and my steel capped work boots.

Best pair out of the lot is the steel capped boots, I might not use them all the time but they've saved me from a broken toe or two a few times now xD

I've got 14 different types of boots, some dress, some outing, some for my old job. 6 pairs of sports shoes for when I go jogging. 2 pairs of flat boxing boots. 3 pairs of flipflops, and one pair of fuzzy around-the-house slippers so...

2 pairs of flashy sandals to wear with Punjabis (a cloth that we wear in our subcontinent)
1 soccer boots.
1 pair of black shoes to wear with coat or in formal occasions.
1 for school.
2 more shoes for informal occasions and coachings.

I bought some new shoes recently, so i should add two onto the number. I bought a new pair of boots which have poppers on the side. That way i can wear them like shin boots, or i can roll them down and secure them and wear them like ankle boots.

I also bought some black heeled shoes with a bow on the front.

So about 19 pairs now. I need to throw some away and sell some soon, so this may go up or down (depending on how many more pairs i buy afterwards lol)
