You know the deal, post your favorite movies! Why they are your favorites would be nice too.

Mine?

Office Space, because I find it funny as hell. Up In Smoke, because I smoke pot and that's pretty much a requirement if you do that. Monty Python and the Holy Grail, due to it's pure silliness. Spaceballs because of all the jabs it makes at Star Wars. Speaking of Star Wars, I like those movies too. The original trilogy mostly... I thought the prequels were way too flashy and lacked good storylines.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. Might add more if I think of more.

Session 9, [REC] (I still have not seen the second movie), Silent Hill (you may think what you want, but I kinda liked it...), Dog Soldiers, Ring (Jap version), El Orfanato, El Laberinto del Fauno...

Comedy movies:
A-Team (2010), Eurotrip, Monthy Python and the Holy Grail, Life of Brian...

Westerns:
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly; A Fistful of Dynamite; Once Upon a Time in the West

Historical movies:
Three Kingdoms, When the Last Sword is Drawn, Saving Private Ryan, Der Untergang, Das Leben der Anderen...

Fantasy:
LOTR trilogy...

well firstly i love horror movies
grudge , exoricsm of emily rose , ring , REC, paranormal activities , paranormal entity and many more are there

other than that my most fav movie is the pirates of the carriebean series ..love all three of them ...
Pitch black , the chornicles of riddick , payback , con air ,fast and furious(not that much)

My favourite movie?... ermm
i think that would be "the life before her eyes"

its a rather unknown movie and didnt get the best ratings by the critics because the movie seems "too complicated"
why i like it though: because it is not like all the other movies... explosions, a sex scene, special effects, happy ending...
it is a movie to think about and the ending comes absolutely unexpected.
i was also able to relate to this movie...

i recommend it to anyone who wants to have a movie that makes him think

Hmmmm favourite movies... I think I got to many to post them all XD

Avatar - is one of my faves at the moment, because I love the story and would give anything to live in the Na'vi's world XD
2012/The day after tommorrow/Deep Impact/Volcano - Because I love disaster movies.. :p
The Lord of the Rings (1-3+the Hobbit(if it ever is going to be published)) - I love that world and all the creatures ^^

Okay, here comes ALOT...
Pirates of the Carribean (1-4(yes I already know Im going to love that one too)) - Love the story and Johnny Depp XD
Alice in Wonderland - Sweet story and Johnny Depp plays the role of tha Hatter like a pro ^^
Edward Schissorhands - Again a sweet story and Johnny Depp is so cute in this movie :D
Charlie and the chocolate factory - mmmmh, a whole movie about candy.. And again Johnny Depp gets a role that is easy to fall in love with ^^ (Maybe it even easier because it is him that has it XD )
Chocolate - again a movie about candy... and what candy is more sweet than the one that got the male mainrole XD
Corpse Bride - Epic movie and it doesnt get worse that it is Johnny Depp that does the voice of the male mainrole character ^^

Then I like almost every horror movie I have seen... For me the Grudge was to scary :p

Phonebooth is also a good movie, but it is only good the first time you see it.. same thing with Unthinkable...
Cellular is really good to.. but also only very good the first time you see it ^^

I have probally missed alot of other movies I like.. Bullet proof monk, to be one of them.. ow an Dracula 2000, I like the story about how the first vampire came to be and why it is that they die by sunlight and silver...
Gotta stop now.. :p
