So i'm three episodes into this series and the thing is just frigging epic. I love it.
For those that haven't seen it, you really should. It's basically a western, in space.
Humans have terraformed planets in order to make them more Earth like, so they can live there. These planets are more like frontier towns then anything else, away from government powers and laws.
Then there's the Alliance which is the two great powers left on Earth, America and China, merged together. They've taken control of the planets to unite them altogether under one rule, so everything as a sorta Asian, American mix to it.
The story starts with the main character fighting on the losing side of the Civil War against the Alliance and then follows him and his crews attempt to earn enough money, through whatever job they can get (legal or otherwise) to keep the ship going.
The story is more interesting then that, i just can't explain to well.
Unless it gets really bad in the next few episode, I'd say i've found myself a new favourite. Anyone else seen it?
Unfortunately though, the show was cancelled due to poor ratings before it was even fully aired, which is just unbelievable. There should definitely be a second series for it, which i know there never will be, but i can still hope.
At least we got the movie, which i'm planning to watch once i'm done with the series.
